An interface between enterprises and the research community this unit is dedicated to developing the technology transfer activity of the laboratory.
Created in 2000 with the financial support of the Aquitaine Regional Council and the European Community, the LaBRI-Transfert unit is integrated in the technology diffusion network of the region. LaBRI-Transfert handles the treatment of requests from industry and organises the relations with the appropriate teams and also the procurement of the equipment and hardware necessary for the R&D programmes planned. The collaboration may take the form of provision of services, expert reports, training programmes or research agreements. According to the nature of the work undertaken, the partners may receive financial support from regional, European or international sources. From employment of a student during his final placement to a research and development contract, there are many forms of collaboration between public research and private enterprise, according to the human and financial resources of the industrial partner.
