Introduction
I am associate professor at the ENSEIRB and LaBRI. Currently, I am in "delegation CNRS" at PIMS/Vancouver Simon Fraser University for a full year to work with Cedric Chauve on RNA.
I received the PhD Degree in December 2004. My thesis focused on the study of RNA secondary structures and, in particular, their comparison using a tree distance.
Research
main research axis:
- In bioinformatics, I work on RNA secondary structure comparison using tree edit distance.
- In music, I work on musical sequence (symbolic representation) comparison and analysis.
- In theoretical computer science, I work on indexes (suffix tree, suffix array) and sequence edition/alignment.
Teaching
Actually, I give courses in the master in computer science at the ENSEIRB:
- Object Oriented Programming and Java.
- programming in C++.
- network.
- C system programming with Posix.
