Mathilde Bouvel

Since October 2010, I am a CNRS junior researcher at LaBRI, Bordeaux, in the group Enumerative and algebraic combinatorics of the CombAlgo team.

Before that, I was a PhD student and teaching assistant at LIAFA, university of Paris 7 - Denis Diderot.

Research interests

My research is dedicated to the study of permutations (and related objects) in enumerative and analytic combinatorics, in algorithmics, and for random generation.
I am specifically interested in the pattern relation on permutations, permutation classes, and substitution decomposition.

Working groups and projects I am involved in

I am part of the working groups Aléa and Algebraic Combinatorics of the larger research group GdR-IM, of the French ANR projects Magnum (2010-2014), and Psyco.
I also used to be a member of the French ANR project Gamma (2007-2010).

Seminar and conference organization

Since March 2011, I am in charge of organizing the LaBRI seminar.

I am co-organizing the following events: Previously, I also organized GASCom 2012 in Bordeaux
