e-learning

I was director of METICE, a component of Université Paul Valéry (UPV), in charge of the UPV e-learning initiative, but also managing the more traditional form of distance learning, language lab and multimedia common ressources on the campus (June 2001 - July 2003). (15 persons working in the back-office, yearly budget of approximately 400 K€).

I participate in events on e-learning at a national level. I was invited to participate as panelist at several occasions:

I was an elected member of our "faculty" council (conseil de l'UFR IV) - until being detached at INRIA in September 2006.

I was part of a permanent committee supervising the needs for equipment (computers, furnitures, etc.) trying its best to rationalize things, helping in the writing of public calls for spending public money ...

I acted as our university representative for questions concerning the C2i (certificat internet informatique): a certification for undergraduate and graduate students coordinated at a national level between all participating universities.

I am actively involved in the development of administrative and learning e-tools in our department.
