GICO - Generative Interoperability for Communicating Objects
- Overview
-
- In this project, we propose a generative approach to address the problem of protocol heterogeneity in networked home. Specifically, we plan to design a language to express protocol translation rules and a tool to automatically generate a gateway enabling heterogeneous objects to communicate. We will also design a language to specify adaptation policies depending on the dynamic evolution of specific criteria about available resources and the environment. To sum up, our approach will enable the generated gateways to be reconfigured at runtime according to associated adaptation policies.
