DESCRIPTION:Quantum measurements can be used to teleport and process inform
 ation across entangled states\, a paradigm known as measurement-based quan
 tum computing (MBQC). Because quantum operations are inherently error-pron
 e\, quantum information can be protected by encoding it in topological err
 or-correcting codes\, such as the Toric code. In this talk\, we introduce 
 new tools that expand the computational capabilities of topological MBQC w
 hile significantly reducing its operational cost. We also explore measurem
 ent-induced transitions between short- and long-range entangled phases.\n
