Researcher at the Laboratoire Bordelais de Recherche en Informatique (LaBRI),
professor at the Université Bordeaux and member of the Institut Universitaire de France.

I spent the academic year 2015/16 at the Technical University of Munich as a Hans-Fischer Fellow.

Research interests

Automata theory, logic, games, automated verification and synthesis,
partial order methods, distributed computing, foundations of data bases.

  • Steering commitee chair of the International Colloquium on Automata, Languages and Programming (ICALP) .

    My goal is to contribute to initiatives supporting open access publication and promoting Theoretical Computer Science in Europe and beyond.
    I am also committed to preserve the impact of ICALP, as main European TCS conference.
