Short Bio
I received my PhD in Signal Processing and Telecommunications from the University of Rennes, France, in 2007, working in the research lab vista (INRIA Rennes). The topic of my PhD was motion segmentation in complex scenes. Between 2007 and 2010, I was a postdoctorate in Barcelona, Spain (at BarcelonaMedia and University Pompeu Fabra), working on the topic of image and video completion. In September 2010, I became an associate professor at University of Bordeaux and since December 2020, I am full professor in Computer Science. I conduct my research in the Image and Sound Department of LaBRI. My traditional research topic is image and video processing. I am now also studying assessment of ICT environmental impacts and joined EcoInfo group.
Research Interests
- Current reseach: analysis of environmental impacts of ICT, and in particular AI; sustainability of digital technologies; how to teach these topics
- Previously, I was working on in image and video processing and analysis and in particular inpainting, colorization and segmentation.
