The CAP-IA project, led by François Clautiaux (IMB) and the University of Bordeaux, accepted last November, is finally launched. It is an ambitious project that I am leading in connection with Bordeaux INP. The goal is to significantly increase the number of students trained in AI in the coming years, at all levels, but particularly at the Master’s and PhD levels. Thanks to this project, the university will open a Master’s program entirely dedicated to AI (contact Akka Zemmari for this). In this exciting project, I am responsible for the work package on the development of Excellence Tracks in AI at the Master’s and Doctoral levels. A significant amount of work ahead, which resonates with the launch of the AI Master’s program at the University of Bordeaux (it was about time!).

This project is supported by France 2030 as well as industrial partners such as AIO, Suez Eau France - le LyRE, COAPI, Connectiv-IT, Proditec, Techview, Idmog SAS - Fieldbox, CAP2020 Consult.

The official launch will take place in September 2023. Find more information about this project here
