A.I. has been the subject of many, many press articles in recent months. The exposure of tools such as chatGPT4 to the general public accelerates even more the need for explanation and understanding of these tools. Everyone can see how these “generative” tools will revolutionise our daily lives.
But what are their limits? Should we be afraid of them?
These are all questions that initiated the conversation I had the pleasure of having with Stéphanie Lacaze, journalist at Sud-Ouest, an important regional newspaper. This interview illustrates the major issues that we are trying to address in the framework of the chair “Trustworthy AI”, that I am carrying with the help of the Bordeaux University Foundation at the heart of many articles in the press.
