These were the Journées Francophones de Programmation par Contraintes organized this year with the PFIA in Strasbourg. You can find all the accepted papers in the PDF of the JFPC proceedings. This year, Élise Vareilles was responsible for the program committee. A lot of review work, as every year. The quality of the reviews is always an example of kindness, deep understanding, and wise advice: one of the hallmarks of these days, in addition to allowing young researchers in the constraints community to meet their seniors.
The JFPC are the yearly meeting of the entire French-speaking community related to constraint programming, logic programming, SAT, and even knowledge representation issues. I invite you to browse the website of the Association Francophone de Programmation par Contraintes, which notably has the mission of organizing this annual event (an association of which I am president).
This year we were delighted to join the PFIA (Plateforme Francophone en Intelligence Artificielle), the national meeting of most artificial intelligence conferences, organized by the AFIA (Association Francophone d’Intelligence Artificielle). The meeting took place in Strasbourg with great fanfare. Once again, it was an opportunity to meet and discuss with friends!
We took the opportunity to organize an AFPC board seminar and, in commando mode, to work on the association’s website, before gathering, as every year, the members of the association for the ordinary general assembly. I was renewed as President for an additional year. Thank you for the trust and congratulations to the entire board and the renewed office.
See you next year (2024) in Lens for a new edition of the JFPC, this time organized independently of the PFIA.
