Due to the privileged relationship that LaBRI has with Ubi Soft studio in Bordeaux, and the Kiwi project (now a discontinued project) in which I was able to supervise a Post-Doc on the automatic generation of interesting game levels (ensuring certain properties on the generated levels), in connection with constraint programming, I had the pleasure of attending the vernissage of the temporary exhibition of Assassin’s Creed in Bordeaux.

The relationships with Ubi Soft studio and my engineering school are strong. Many students join the school with a passion for video games. We offer the school several profiles of engineers particularly well suited to video games (High Performance Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering), and we regularly have students who are recruited by major development studios.

Bordeaux is a very active city in the video game industry. So it was a pleasure to once again become aware of the phenomenal work that is required for the development of such video games. The entire development team (programmers, designers, artists, …) was present that evening. An orchestra performed the original themes found in the game.

Live concert of the game's music

Thanks to Ubi Soft for the invitation and the past and future collaborations!
