Les Echos Judiciaires is a regional newspaper that has existed since 1848 and is authorised by the prefect to publish regional legal notices. This makes it a newspaper that is widely read by decision-makers and business leaders.

I was contacted by the newspaper last month to have the opportunity to present the IA-Cluster project (in response to the France 2030 Call for IA-Cluster Research and Training Poles of World Rank in Artificial Intelligence) that I have been coordinating since May 2023, but also to present the scientific specificities of the Trusted AI Chair. This interview, which addressed various aspects of AI, anchored it in the regional ecosystem, was an opportunity to present how the IA-Cluster project that we have just submitted in phase 2 is an ambitious project but above all necessary if we want to develop and deploy AI systems with the highest possible autonomy in confidence.

The full interview is available on the newspaper’s website.

I also had the pleasure of discovering the passionate work of Louis Piquemil, the photographer who had the difficult task of illustrating AI without including robots (and who gave me the role of a model for a session)!
