Research Interests

My domain of expertise is "Media Internet".
Currently, and from 2014, my research interests are focused on areas related to Media Internet:
  1. Adaptive video streaming, blockchain, peer-to-peer, radio-light, 5G: the objective is to find efficient solutions, at all levels, for delivering video content to End-Users over the Internet protocol.

Objective: to propose an innovative content streaming solution through a multi-criteria approach of server selection.

European Project: FP7 ICT IP "ALICANTE" (Media Ecosystem Deployment through Ubiquitous Content-Aware Network Environments): R&D collaborative project around 20 partners (industrials, SMEs, Research centres, Universities).

Objective: to propose an innovative solution for the evolution of the media networks within Future Internet, through a context- and content-aware approach at the network level and network-aware applications.

    From Sept. 2010: Responsible of "Networking" courses in Telecommunication Dept: 8 modules in the 2 first years. 1 dedicated speciality in the 3rd year.
    2009-2015: Responsible of 2nd & 3rd year students internships.
    2012-2015: Responsible of 3rd year speciality RSC (Embedded Systems & Networks).
    2007-2010: Responsible of 1st year RSI (Network & Information Systems).

    Teaching Innovations Actions

    Many innovative actions have been setup within the Telecommunications department of ENSEIRB-MATMECA, Bordeaux INP, to which I participated:

  • 2015: "Télécomthèque" museum of telecommunication evolution.
  • From 2014: Use of MOODLE platform for teaching.
  • From 2013: "1-minute Télécom" videos on one technical subject.
  • From 2013: Teaching in English.
  • From 2012: "Télécom Lab" dedicated project space for students.
  • 2011-2014: ERASMUS Summer School "PERSEUS".
  • From 2011: Visits organized at Orange to see real large Telecom infrastructures working.
