AI4Industry was held from 16 to 20 January 2023 at a multitude of sites in New Aquitaine, with the support of the R3IA which I have been leading since January 2023. I had the pleasure of participating in two events during this week, which was full of A.I. activities and which mobilised a large number of A.I. players in New Aquitaine.

Round table “Doing a thesis in AI”

With Frédéric Alexandre, and on behalf of R3IA, I co-organised a round table (without round table, on 19 January) on the subject “Doing a thesis in AI”, by inviting about ten PhD students from the network, with the idea of facilitating and stimulating meetings between AI PhD students and AI4Industry students. The aim of these exchanges was to arouse vocations among students interested in AI. The exchanges were numerous and very eclectic!

AI4Industry use case special price jury

Because of my current position at R3IA, I had the pleasure of chairing the jury to select the AI4Industry use-case that will be highlighted at DataQuitaine 2023 (March 2, 2023 at Kedge). This year, the projects were really abundant and some of them really impressive. We are still in the process of selecting the best projects. Stay tuned!
