About me

Since November 2008, I am a researcher associate at Inria Bordeaux University in the Numeric and Sustainability team of the LaBRI.

Around 2020, I undertook a thematic reconversion to focus my research on the socio-environmental issues faced by our thermo-industrial and extractivist societies. In particular, I'm interested in how digital technology can help us better understand the dynamics of our world, so as to enlight debates in the academic, public and political spheres about our choices for society. I'm also part of the ecoinfo and Labos1point5 national groups.

Prior to this reconversion, my research interest was focused on computer graphics in general. I received my PhD in 2005 from the Paul-Sabatier university of Toulouse. Up to 2020, I've been the main developer and maintainer of the Eigen library.
