I am a member of LaBRI, a research laboratory that combines talents from the University of Bordeaux, CNRS, Bordeaux INP, and Inria. I work in the STORM team, whose offices are located in the Inria Center at the University of Bordeaux in Talence (metropolitan area of Bordeaux). For more details, you can check my CV.

Feel free to contact me about any of the topics below (contact information at the bottom of the page).

research

My research aims to optimize parallel applications through well-adapted scheduling algorithms. These applications go from classic high-performance computing (HPC) numeric simulations to real-time systems and distributed machine learning techniques. I think we should all be able to benefit from the available performance in the computing resources that we use. Regarding scheduling algorithms, my research deals with challenges related to heterogeneity, locality, scalability, and energy. On the software side of my research, I focus on issues related to the integration of schedulers and the availability of workloads for experiments.

equity, diversity & inclusion

I am involved in Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) efforts in different contexts. I am a member of the Societal Challenges commission in LaBRI focused on EDI. I am one of the people responsible for the Gender Equality and Equal Opportunities workgroup in the Inria Center at the University of Bordeaux. I was the EDI Chair for SBAC-PAD 2022. I have been a member of Women in HPC for a few years now. At the end of the day, I believe we should all be able to work in a safe and welcoming environment in order to do our best for society.

teaching

I currently teach Algorithms for HPC Platforms for the HPC and Data Science master’s degree organized by the University of Bordeaux and Bordeaux INP, and Scheduling and Runtime Systems for the Quantum and Distributed Computer Science master’s degree of the University of Paris-Saclay. I have previously taught classes on GPU programming at Polytech Paris-Saclay, and on compilers, computer architecture, and parallel computing at the Federal University of Santa Catarina when I was an associate professor there.
