Designing verifiable quantum advantage experiments is a challenging task. One needs to faithfully implement a (if possible) provably classically hard task on a near-term quantum device. In this talk, we will present how to implement with high fidelity the sampling of a large T-doped Clifford circuit, a problem close to Random Circuit Sampling. We will first recall recent advances in error detection on near-term devices and show how these techniques can be used to build confidence in the outcome of a large-scale experiment.
